Kel has been performing for 18yrs from cover bands to originals across the state. Kel studied the Associate Diploma of Music
at Adelaide University. Kel has
played venues and Festivals across the state and has worked with artists such as Noise Works, Ross Wilson, James Reyne, The Black Sorrows, Jimmy Barnes, John Swan, Archie Roach, Casey Chambers, The Zep Boys,
and Circus Animals. (The Cold Chisel Show).
As the front man of Barrel House, Kel captures the audience with his enthusiasm and dynamic vocal range. This energetic and

John-Paul (J-P) Hunter, Lead Guitar, B/Vox.
An exciting and experienced lead guitarist who can take the focus off centre stage with his captivating riffs and Showmanship J-P played at the International Guitar Festival in Melbourne with the Warriors Association. J-P prefers to play a Gibson Les Paul with Marshall Amp. J-P is self taught and has been playing guitar for about 30 years. J-P’s influences are guitar legends such as Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, BB King, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Steve Morse and many more. J-P is a huge fan of the blues, but enjoys
all genres of music.
Tom Hunter, Rhythm Guitar, Keys, Harp, B/Vox.
Tom started playing guitar when he was about 12, he is self taught. Tom has played in various bands during his career prior to Barrel House, and played at the Melbourne Guitar Festival, Tom’s highlight was meeting rock legend Ross Wilson. This exhilarating musician plays a blend of instruments and is an electric and passionate performer. Tom also plays mandolin and
ukulele.
Rod Holmes, Bass.
Rod started learning and playing music at the age of 10. In recent years he's been playing covers and originals in local bands such as Gibson Street, Speed machine, Money Road and Lead Foot just to name a few. A talented bassist Rod now enjoys jamming to the Rock and Blues of Barrel House.
